i hate that the word their is plural

it’s really awkward when i want to say, for example, “i think i’m the only person on the planet who doesn’t know their own social security number” and instead have to say “i think i’m the only person on the planet who doesn’t know his own social security number” because it just sounds awkward idk because person is both singular and androgynous but because i’m talking about myself so i have to say his
